新しい時代に Into a New Age
We feel that a new age is coming to the field of the Japanese language education. Recently the number of foreign students studying the Japanese language in Japan has decreased; meanwhile, the needs of those students presently studying Japanese have become much more varied. We believe that it is time for the field of the Japanese language education to make a new start. In an age of many volunteer teaching activities, as well as various Japanese language educational activities, we must prove the real value of the Japanese language educational institution. In awareness of our social role as an institute of Japanese language education, each and every instructor must specialize in the Japanese language education. The Kyoto Japanese Language School, founded in September of 1950, has continually and consistently provided its students with a strong base in Japanese language instruction. Realizing actual results in the last half century we plan to provide an even richer learning environment, so not only our school activities, but also our social involvement will increase, allowing for the further attainment of cooperation. We would still like to see more activities fulfilled by the creation of a network on the Internet. No mattter how this age approaches us, basic education will not change in its effort to promote character exchange through people. What we have provided over the past half century through teaching "kotoba" and "kokoro" (language and heart) will surely last an eternity. [TOPPAGE] |
