Beginner
level
|
This course aims
to develop the fundamental skills necessary for
conversation about the students' surroundings,
using basic vocabulary and sentence patterns.
Although the class emphasizes spoken
conversation, students will also learn to read
and write hiragana and katakana, and will study
kanji characters that are necessary for their
everyday life.
|
|
Intermediate
level
|
This course will
measure students' knowledge of basic grammar
patterns, add to their previous speaking and
listening practice, cover reading comprehension
of sentences with fairly difficult content, and
develop a comprehensive, applied Japanese
language ability for use in everyday
life.
|
|
Advanced
level
|
This course is
intended for students with applied language
ability who can read over 1000 kanji characters.
Using newspaper and magazine articles as course
materials, students will learn to grasp the
content of relatively difficult Japanese and to
express their own opinions.
|
|
Notes
